The Blairgowrie Rosemount Golf Course is one of Scotland’s hidden inland gems and is another James Braid design. The original course in 1914 was extended by Dr Alister MacKenzie and then again in 1930 by James Braid. This is a very pretty and picturesque inland course. The fairways move between avenues of trees which provide protection but can also prove difficult to negotiate. Always in excellent condition, it is a course I try to play once every year.
