Royal Dornoch is the most northerly of all the Royal golf clubs in the United Kingdom. Set in a wild and isolated part of the north east of Scotland, Royal Dornoch is truly one of the great links courses of the United Kingdom. Royal Dornoch would most certainly be an Open Championship course were it not for its geographical position. The course is basically an out and in layout, with gorse lining the left hand side on the way out and the sea and beach lining the fairways on the way back in. This course is constantly ranked in the top 20 in the world. The town of Dornoch is small but beautiful and during the summer golf is at its heart. At the Links Club we earnestly recommend that this course be on your list for the North East swing.
