Arrive Edinburgh Airport and be welcomed by a Links Club representative who will assist you with the rental car/luxury bus and direct you to your first destination or introduce you to your driver. Travel to Gullane where you will play your first round of golf on the no. 1 course. After your round of golf, you will travel to Edinburgh to the Howard where you will be staying for three nights.
Travel east to North Berwick to play your second round of golf. This is a short distance from Muirfield, one of your Ryder Cup courses. This will be a great experience prior to your round on Muirfield. North Berwick is one of Scotland’s hidden gems. After your round of golf, there will be an opportunity to return to Edinburgh and take in a viewing of Edinburgh Castle or enjoy a whisky tasting experience at the Malt Whisky Society.
An early start will take you to Muirfield where the Ryder Cup was held in 1973. Muirfield is regarded as one of the greatest links courses in the world and this will be your opportunity to play the 2013 Open venue. The lunch at Muirfield is an experience in itself and is not to be missed. After your round of golf you will return to your hotel with an opportunity to explore more of Edinburgh.
You will leave the Howard Hotel and travel to the 2014 Ryder Cup course at Gleneagles, the PGA Centenary course. Situated in Perthshire glens, Gleneagles is one of the most attractive golf resorts in the world. After your round of golf, you will travel to St Andrews for your first night’s stay at the St Andrews Golf Hotel.
Travel to and play the now famous Kingsbarns golf links where you will play one of the most popular courses in Scotland with stunning views back towards St Andrews. On completion of your round, you’ll return to St Andrews to discover the unique experience of the most famous golf destination in the world.
You can walk to the world famous Starter’s Box on the Old Course for your final round of golf. Only three minutes from your hotel, this is an opportunity to take in the excitement of your forthcoming round on the most famous course in the world. At the end of your round of golf, you can retire to the Dunvegan and celebrate.
Travel back to the airport for your flight home.
