Scotscraig Golf Club was founded in 1817 and is situated at Tayport in the north of Fife. A short distance from Carnoustie and only ten miles from St Andrews, it is ideally placed for a convenient second round of golf or as a course to be visited in its own right as part of your golf itinerary. James Braid re-designed Scotscraig in 1923. It is a par 71 at 6669 yards. With plenty of heather and gorse, it is an excellent combination of links heath-land and moorland. Scotscraig is also a Final Open qualifying course when the Open is held at St Andrews. This is a course to play should the golfer have time to add to their golf itinerary.
