The Queen's Course, Gleneagles

The Queen’s Course at Gleneagles, also designed by James Briad, is the smallest of the three courses at Gleneagles and was opened for play in 1917.  Its length from the medal tees measures less than 6000 yards but has a par of 68 and represents an immensely enjoyable golfing challenge.  The golf course weaves it s way across undulating moorland to greens set in bowls and on raised hills amongst tall pine trees and grassy glades.  Whilst the Queen’s is a short course, the front nine are regarded as some of the hardest holes at the Gleneagles complex especially as they all play in to the prevailing wind.
